LMPD officer hit by vehicle; 2 arrested

it's ironic he is making a big deal about a guy who was found not guilty many years ago. He must think people will forget he hired a suspeced serial rapist and failed to investigate an alleged child molestor ring. It's like how he let an autistic kid get a tour, only 2 days after another autistic kid's parents sue for LMPD sicking a K9 on him while in bed during a botched run. The guy must have a very low opinion of the public's intelligence levels to assume they're all that dumb.

All I'm saying is the guy should get a fair evaluation of his application. Let the paperwork progress through the regular channels and be quiet about it. In the end, the chief can accept or reject it. It's not a "fair" evaluation when the chief grandstands and comes out very publicly to state what he said. The only reason it was done that way was to appease a certain segment of the population and everybody with half a brain knows it.
