If they did, they'd find out the murder suspect from Goldsmith Lane was also charged with 1st degree possession of cocaine, 2nd offense, and was on probation.

It's important for the public to know that our judges and state corrections are probating dangerous felons, allowing them to murder people and deal dope. He also had a small kid in the the car when he was arrested, which is obvious from the booster seat violation. Shame on the lazy reporters for not reporting and PIO for not doing their "public information" jobs.

They protests are headed to Lexington, so probably not long until they arrive here. The Chief should promptly announce Operation Trust II to interdict this activity and ride the wave of success that was Operation Trust. We will never forget all the arrests they've made over the last 2 years. There is no doubt they can do the same for radicals. The self-righteous Courier-Journal once again reminds us of their long-standing hostility towards police, this time by publishing an editorial saying police shouldn't have the same rights afforded to the rest of society.

Consider that the Mayor's hired gun is merely a servant of his politics, rather than an impartial outside investigator. We don't even know how much knowledge he had about the Explorer case. We do know that Conrad nearly always is on the same page as the Mayor in all his decisions, so it's doubtful the Mayor was completely in the dark about it all. The Mayor's investigator is mainly interested in interrogating low level officers, not the high level decision makers who allowed it all to happen.

It's time for the Metro Council to end this farce and ask the Kentucky State Police to conduct an investigation independent of politics, which Andy Beshear and the Mayor's hired hand are incapable of by definition.
