Man charged with murder of LMPD officer blames officer for fatal crash

There's always a burger flipper or ditch digger looking for a little more pay. That doesn't mean LMPD will be able to hire anyone able to do more than pass a POPS test. It doesn't mean most on LMPD will be as capable of making good life-or-death decisions as in the past. There will be more preventable accidental shootings, more criminals who successfully elude less talented detectives to kill or rob again, and other human tragedies.
