Racist: a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another.

Some may be fooling themselves into thinking they're exempt from being called a racist, but that's perfectly normal for a racist. All of the thousands of videos on social media showing a mob of minorities attacking whites are also examples of hate crimes, no matter how few of them are officially labeled that. The lack of law enforcement in that area is a reflection of the sad state of certain law enforcement agencies after years of politicization.
