I don't know what part of town you work in, but we're damn close to having vigilantes taking the law into their own hands in some parts of town. The department is already only running in 2 cylinders. It's irresponsible and dangerous to suggest officers add to the problem. The correct action is to keep the public informed about everything happening so the pressure stays on the Mayor to fix his broken ship.
