His clear message to the council is F-you, I work for the Mayor and not you. I'm sure that will work well for him and Fischer. Enjoy the fireworks to follow.

Chief gave such a poor performance in that news conference, that he would have been better off not having one at all. Talk about unprepared. He should have known that the very first question he got would concern Major Harper's demotion. He danced around the subject so much, he should have been a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. Credit to the media, they would not let him get away with it. Harper apparently was given a choice.... Demotion or retire.
