Louisville Metro Council members frustrated with lack of answers from LMPD about hiring officers

That's a laugh. People get put off units all the time on every other PD in this state. Lawsuits about being removed for low productivity or most other reasons go nowhere since it's not a demotion.

The one guy who got money received that money because the Chief retaliated against him. He was one of the more productive detectives in his unit. That's how you win a lawsuit so don't get your hopes up since that's not you. This place has a lot of in-crowd do-nothings being kept in places because they're sucked in to the right people. They'd have no case if someone decided to send them back to the beat when their protector retires.
