Louisville Metro Council members frustrated with lack of answers from LMPD about hiring officers

In case anyone's wondering what a real anti-gang task force looks like, it has more than just a handful of people from a handful of agencies. Denver's gang task force has Denver PD, the US Attorney, all of the federal agencies, the state police, the county sheriff, a half dozen other cities near Denver, and 2 neighboring county Sheriffs offices. It's time to quit the announcements of short lived groups like Operation Trust and LM-INTEL for TV political speeches and get down to brass tacks. If Chief Conrad and his counterparts aren't up to the job, then they should file their retirement paperwork and head to the nearest golf course. Don't task this as a sign of anger or disrespect, but this city can't afford your style of law enforcement anymore.

Promises made. Promises kept. Criminals can run but they can't hide, at least not outside of Louisville Metro.

That was one of the largest gang busts in many years for the FBI. It was a direct result of Holder and Lynch being replaced by Sessions, who wants federal law enforcement arresting violent felons instead of just investigating police.
