You miss the point. When the powers that be allow those at the top of the food chain to escape justice, juries find it hypocritical when they try to hand some nobody for a relatively minor charge. The internet and 24-hour news channels have ruined any chances of them keeping it quiet like in the bad old days and pretending the system isn't corrupt.
