Louisville Metro Council members frustrated with lack of answers from LMPD about hiring officers

dilettante:

1. A person prone to become mildly involved with or superficially interested in various subjects instead of developing any specific skill or knowledge to its fullest. Often used to describe amateurs and wanna-bes.

2. A person having a fancy job title who knows jack schit about that job and prefers to spend his days chit chatting and drinking Unicorn Frappuchinos at Starbucks.

Example: "Greg, a dilettante who played seven muscial instruments, couldn't get a spot in the school band because he didn't play any single instrument well."

These are not the words of people who recognize their own mistakes or how to correct them

Regardless of the civil case's outcome, it's damning enough that the Chief didn't order a full investigation in 2013 to determine the full extent of child molestation in the Explorers. People have a very difficult time believing the Mayor was completely unaware of the allegations, considering how Conrad doesn't make a move without getting the Mayor's approval. Even if he didn't know, it happened on his watch, and that's more than enough to get someone else elected next year.
