A large majority of the "seasoned officers" aren't worth a damn on this department. Normally all I hear from them is how they can't wait to retire or they just don't come to work or ride out some BS leave they are on. I agree that the department is young and lacks some maturity but this shooting has nothing to do with age. The problem I think is recruiting. HIRE PEOPLE WITH SOME COMMON SENSE!
