A convicted felon still out of jail, shoots one of YOUR officers. What's the next great idea to come out of HQ? More officers in community relations? Allow mobile 9th to continue drug cases and allow them to monitor gun buys by narcotics unit? Maybe reinstitute the Flex units, since they were the ones you were using to formulate a list of violent offenders and send after them? Guys, make sure you get your Power DMS signatures in, that's our next focus, not fighting crime or violent offenders. Start some more chief initiated investigations of your officers, that's how you could motivate officers and boost morale.
