'National shame' follows fatal park shootings

Members of Louisville's old money families and businesses got the Mayor to support their unpopular methane plants to stink up the west end, until the community got them to back off. These are the families putting on the big Derby parties not far from the Mayor's house. They just happened to donate thousands of dollars to the Mayor's campaigns. Why else would a Mayor support something that would have made life even worse for his voters? Money talks a lot louder than people with protest signs.
