'National shame' follows fatal park shootings

It doesn't matter to this mayor he doesn't live in your neighborhood so he could care less. The chief is his lapdog and has no idea on what to do. Peace walking is about as stupid a thing as they could come up with. Until LMPD is turned loose to lock up the bad guys and the courts put them away NOTHING will change. The democratic hug a thug, we will give them bike lanes or plant a tree mentality of the current administration is a total waste. To fix things you have to start at the top. Until this mayor is voted out of office it won't change. Doing away with directed patrols is not the answer. The clowns in the puzzle palace could care less just as long as their checks don't bounce they will continue the same old song and dance. It is time this council steps on the mayors toes and puts his feet to the fire, they control the purse strings in this city. If something is not done soon it will bleed over into the east end then the sh't will hit the fan.

The west end is home to thousands and thousands of good people that are being held hostage by a group of gun carrying thugs. This is a direct result of generations of parental breakdown, lack of discipline at home and school. Juvenile court is a joke. Peace walks are a joke. To be out marching during daylight hours is not going to do anything to influence the likes of that POS that killed three people including the two brothers brutally murdered then set on fire. Until the Chief starts backing his officers instead of giving them days for cussing on tape or posting something on face book, things won't change. The police are not the problem , it's the violent thugs that are the problem. But what do I know, I am just a retired LPD/LMPD cop.

Wasn't there a petition being signed to get the police out of the neighborhood because they were being harassed by officers?
