Here's how the Gannett company's reporter spun this story to make it sound like the police were overreacting. Most of these so called "reporters" are just another type of left wing activist.

Hundreds marched Saturday night in Indianapolis in an anti-Donald Trump protest that was mostly peaceful but involved a skirmish between police and a small group of protesters. The protest, which lasted several hours, was mostly nonviolent as attendees chanted and eventually marched throughout the city. Hours into the demonstration, a couple of protesters clashed with police and a couple of protesters. Police used what appeared to be a pepper gun on some protesters walking in the street. It was unclear what led to the altercation between police and a couple of protesters. One protester said immediately before a police officer "charged us with the horses onto the sidewalk." Seven people were arrested and two police officers received minor injuries toward the end of the protest. Three of those arrested were not from Indy.
