Dad of slain rapper upset by 'snitch' fliers

Louisville is a consolidated local government, so the county is the city, and both LMPD and JCSO are both countywide law enforcement agencies. I'm pretty sure the Metro Council has the power to do something like that with an ordinance if a future Sheriff and future Mayor came to an agreement on it. It certainly wouldn't happen under the current ones and the Mayor's office would probably want to dissolve the Sheriff's office instead like in Indianapolis. The status quo is what people are comfortable with.
