A Black man is told to be self sufficient. Go get an education and stop living off the government. Support your kids and work for a living. He does that and starts to move up the promotional ladder. Instantly, white people will complain he only got that job and promotion because he was black and there was someone "more qualified" (code for white workers) that should have gotten the spot. In your world that never happens.
