Matt Bevin is a hack tho.
So he's the governor of a backwards state that ranks first in everything bad and ranks last in anything good. Anybody who cares about Kentucky hasn't traveled that far.

It's good we finally have a Governor intent on fixing all of the embarrassing messes left behind after several decades of rarely interrupted Democrat rule in Frankfort. The lack of respect for law enforcement shown by Kentucky's politicians is one of those embarrassing messes. Maybe now Kentucky can put a real retirement system back in place and fix the massive pay cut that officers have taken since 2003 because of wages not keeping up with inflation.

3 more murders in Possibility City and this time the media is figuring out there's not actually an I in PIO.
"Initially, police would not confirm how the three victims died, but an LMPD spokesperson said there was "visible trauma." We now know they died from multiple gunshot wounds. Originally, police said investigators found two men and one woman dead. On Sunday morning that was corrected to three men."

The media doesn't question anything anymore.
JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – Communities have pushed to get them, but now some local police departments are getting rid of body cameras.
Jeffersonville and Clarksville PDs have suspended their body-camera programs because of a law that just took effect.
“This will give us an opportunity unlike anything we had before,” Jeffersonville Maj. Joshua Lynch said back in May of 2015.
That opportunity was short-lived for the Jeffersonville Police Department, which made the announcement about its body-camera program a little more than a year ago.
As of July 1, however, JPD officers are no longer recording video while on the streets. The reason, they say is House Bill 1019, now a law.
"Our current equipment capabilities do not expand to the specific level of enhancements required by House Bill 1019," Jeffersonville's Police Chief Col. Kenny Kavanaugh said in a statement.
Under the new law, it establishes who has the right to view footage and requires that the video must be stored for at least 190 days. In some cases, it's even longer.
WAVE 3 News Safety and Security Expert and former police officer D'Shawn Johnson says he understands where the Jeff and Clarksville police departments are coming from.
"A lot of these smaller departments are seeing those costs add up and they have to make a choice. Do I want to have my officer with body cams, or do I want to pay this money to have an additional officer on the street?” Johnson said.
Louisville Metro Police Department Assistant Chief of Police, Lt. Col. Robert Schroeder, said the high costs of storage even delayed the launch of their cameras. Even though Kentucky guidelines are less strict, he said the department tries to exceed those.
“The minimum standard under Library and Archives guidelines is 30 days,” Schroeder said. “However, when you look at guidelines regarding evidence and crimes, it can be a much longer period.”
In homicide investigations, footage will be kept forever.
The LMPD says the pros of body cams far outweigh the cons, and the cost.
“In Louisville's instance, we have actually seen a reduction of complaints from citizens and we have actually been able to reduce the size of our professional standards unit by one sergeant,” Schroeder said.

The 2 officers per car rule should also apply to unmarked cars except those undercover cars that nobody can pick out as police, otherwise they are just as vulnerable, if not more, since a lot of them are a little rusty on their street skills. Safety first. Don't let rank and personal convenience make you blind to the risks.
Thank you
Thank you so much for all you do. I am so grateful to all of you for your brave service. Please be safe.
