Back in day when something like this happened... When you came to work the next day the mood was very somber. Officers were quiet and sit up straight in roll call. Everybody talked about the incident a little and what could be learned from it. Now days... It barely gets mentioned. I fuzzy black and white picture of the suspect is passed around the table and the juvenile conduct carries on. No strong sergeants telling the troops to be careful out there. Boy oh boy, the days the days.
