What we have today is an extremely demoralized department where the officers feel justified in doing as little enforcement as possible, because the command and politicians like it that way. When you aggressively enforce felony laws, then you will end up with fights, shootings, and controversial arrests. A department that doesn't back up its officers chooses instead to watch it's city go to h311 in a handbasket. That's where Louisville is headed. Ask any of the parents of dead youth in the west end. The clueless rich libtards who think crime can't come there way should look at cities like Washington, Chicago and other liberal meccas. Dangerous felons have cars too and can drive right up to your $500,000 house in the countryside when it suits them. Failure to police the bad areas is inviting that.
