It was a lie...why haven't the officers on the beat ever heard of these 25 gangs. This was a hastily put together interview and a desperate need to bring a reason for the uptick in violence. This whole gang violence bull is BS. But to ignorant council people it is always believed.

We do have gangs. They are the Junior Monks, the Psychos, the Arabian Knights, the Victory Park Crips, MSG. They have a command staff and radios. They have personnel files and photos of their members too

Everyone knows we have gangs and have several gangs for a very long time. But now we are saying it is not a police problem it's a community, neighborhood, family, etc problem...bs. It is everyone's problem that needs to be dealt with accordingly.
