LMPD officer accused of giving 'false' testimony is cleared by department, but not judge

It's sad that over the past decade or so that the court system in Jefferson County really has gone downhill to such a noticeable degree.

25 years ago when I was first hired, it seemed like the officers were treated with much more respect by the courts, and the prosecutors (and judges) actually cared about the officers' input during case conferencing.

But now it is more like a gameshow than justice.
