Officers need to understand that Court is no longer in search of the truth or justice. Instead, it has become a game of wits and bargains. Most police officers don't have degrees in law. Judges and attorneys know this. I have seen on numerous ocassions where officers are railroaded into petty disputes between people who have law degrees. Any officer attending court should go in with the mindset that they are just a pawn in a game of slick manuevering and back door deals. Don't be the one left hold
