Maybe if you did less crying about your job and got out there and did your job like Ron then maybe, just maybe you would be chosen to become part of a unit that has access to OT.. He earned it!!

Hear they have an opening. Maybe you should apply. Otherwise don't complain. I figure you are one of those guys though that think writing a ticket is below your standards. It isn't all about jumping corners young man.

Ron Fey is in a pool for O.T. through fed highway grants. They aren't just available to him. All the current traffic cars have access. My opinion is that about 30% of the traffic unit's current O.T. pool should be available to other units. I, however, also believe that the traffic unit should have access to the majority of what they have due to the amount of work that they do. Love em' or hate em', they work their butts off. A reward for the very high work load, being paged out on fatalities all the time, and endless traffic details is access to overtime. How can you blame a hardworking officer for taking advantage of opportunities?
