White people are so clever. The mention of race into this story was unnecessary but the author had to insert it to counter the BLM Movement. White people hate it Blacks always pull the race card but they do the exact thing in more subtle ways.

"WHAS11 viewers have questioned whether events from Ferguson, Mo. affected the way officers do their jobs. LMPD would not say whether there was a direct link." We don't need your opinions anyway, because some genuine leaders in law enforcement have already spoken. A politician is a politician whether or not they wear a uniform to work like around here.

Is it just me or does this group of individuals that came out to support Judge Stevens appear to be a little homogenous? The judge might wanna dismiss this group and bring in another and draw from a pool that is more of an accurate reflection of the community.

The FOP election made a major liberal blog site. It's such an honor that some of America's leading leftist internet agitators said: "However, Mutchler was re-elected b a margin of more than two-thirds. What indicates broad support of both his tactics and rhetoric more than a vote that strong? It seems that Louisville police officers are not as reform-minded as officials claim. Which is unsurprising"
Maybe he should be a little more concerned about so many of the people he is supposedly concerned about shooting each other every day like it's a video game. The lefty ideologues in the media never seem to notice how many people are dying in minority neighborhoods or that nearly all are being shot by other minorities.

While Obama goofed off, this happened
(CNSNews.com) – Information obtained by the government watchdog group Judicial Watch shows that the Obamas spent $3,115,688.70 in taxpayer money for travel expenses on two vacation trips and a one-day visit to New York City in 2015. On June 20, Obama took Air Force One to Palm Springs, Calif., which required 10.6 hours of flying time. At a cost of $206,337 per hour, the flight (and return) cost $2,187,172.20. During that outing, Obama played golf with Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison, on the latter’s 249-acre Porcupine Creek estate. Obama also reportedly did some fundraising and gave a speech to the U.S. Conference of Mayors. On July 18, reported Judicial Watch, Obama went to New York City with his two daughters and several of their friends. That flight on Air Force One was 1.5 hours long and, at $206,337 per hour, cost taxpayers $309,595.50. In New York City, Obama and “his girls” attended the Broadway musical “Hamilton.” Three days later, Obama flew back to the Big Apple to appear on Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show and speak at a Democratic fundraiser. That was Obama’s seventh appearance on The Daily Show, reported Judicial Watch. On Aug. 7, the Obama family flew on Air Force One to Martha’s Vineyard for a summer vacation. Flight time was 3 hours and, at $206,337 per hour, it cost $619,011.00. At the Vineyard, Obama played golf with Bill Clinton and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, as well as Democratic adviser Vernon Jordan. The Obamas stayed at the same house they’ve rented in the past, the Blue Heron Farm, which rents for $50,000 a week. As for security costs for all three trips, the Secret Service has not provided those numbers yet, reported Judicial Watch. “To date, the total known expenses for travel by the Obamas and Bidens are currently $70,563,336.75,” reported the watchdog group.

D.C. Police Chief Has ‘Counterintuitive’ Advice for Those Confronted With Active Shooter: ‘It’s the Best Option for Saving Lives’
If there’s an opportunity to take out an active shooter, D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier encourages civilians to do so. In an upcoming segment of CBS’ “60 Minutes,” Lanier said she’s no longer preaching a passive message to people confronted with an active shooter. In the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks and threats from the Islamic State, Lanier said calling 911 for law enforcement’s help might not be enough because of response times.
“Your options are run, hide or fight,” Lanier told Anderson Cooper. “The facts of the matter is that most active shooters kill most of the victims in 10 minutes or less. The best police department in the country is going to be about a five minute to seven minute response.”

Chilling Video Shows Good Samaritan Coming to Aid of Woman, Then Shot by Her Attacker
Peter Gold, a fourth-year medical student at Tulane, was driving down a New Orleans street early on Friday when he spotted a woman in distress.
It was 4 a.m. and the woman was being dragged into a car against her will by a man in a hooded sweatshirt, according to the New Orleans Advocate.
Gold, 25, slammed on his brakes, hopped out of the car and rushed toward the woman. But by the time he reached her, she was lying on the sidewalk, according to the Advocate. Before he had a chance to call police, the man who had been dragging the woman stepped out of a light-colored sport utility vehicle and pointed a semi-automatic pistol at Gold, the paper reported.
As Gold raised his arms in surrender, his back facing a brick wall, the man pointed the gun at Gold's head and demanded money, according to the Times-Picayune."The victim explained to the suspect, repeatedly, that he did not have any cash," New Orleans police said in a news release. "The suspect became enraged and shot the victim once in the stomach and attempted to shoot him a second time, but the gun jammed." As Gold writhed in pain, the assailant attempted to shoot Gold in the head, glancing "furtively over his shoulder, shaking the malfunctioning weapon," according to the Advocate. Eventually, the gunman gave up, went back to his car and drove away, leaving his victim bleeding on the sidewalk.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police are busy this weekend investigating two separate shooting incidents on opposite sides of town leaving two men injured. Police say they were called to the Highlands in the 1200 block of Dahlia Drive around 3 p.m. where passersby discovered a man shot in the leg. According to neighbors, the victim was found in an alley that connects Eastern Parkway to Summitt Avenue. Later that evening, police were called to the Shawnee neighborhood at 42nd and Herman where they say a man was shot twice. Both men suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital. Police do not have any suspects in either case. If you have any information on either of these shootings, you are asked to call the Anonymous Tip Line at 574-LMPD.

Airline and security officials at Kennedy Airport let 150 passengers arriving from an international flight leave the airport without going through customs, the Daily News has learned. American Airlines Flight 1671 arrived at JFK from Cancun, Mexico, at 8:50 p.m. Friday. When the plane landed, passengers walked out of the airport without having their passports or bags checked by Customs and Border Protection, sources told The News. A source familiar with the matter said passengers disembarking the plane “just followed” a gate agent. The security snafu came just two days after ISIS released a video threatening New York City with a terrorist attack. “Some passengers on Flight 1671 did not complete immigration and customs process upon arrival when they were inadvertently directed to the domestic terminal,” American Airlines said in a statement. “None of us went through immigration or customs,” a passenger told The News, adding, “There were no signs for customs or anything. The only signs we saw were baggage claim and exit.”

"They began tracking backpage.com for indicators of human trafficking. It is a website where so-called escorts post their services. They expected a lot of postings for services in the west and south ends of Louisville. "I learned my lesson really quick that actually the highest number of postings consistently were happening at Hurstbourne and 64 and Blankenbaker at 64," Anderson said. Other hot spots they documented included I-264 at Bardstown Road and the airport area."

Add these scum to the long list of "non-violent offenders" let off by Kentucky's extremely weak justice system who later murdered somebody. The defense lawyer industry made its money, so that's all that matters to them.

CAMPBELLSBURG, KY (WAVE) - Three people have been arrested by Kentucky State Police in connection with a murder investigation.
Troopers have charged John Downey, 30, of New Castle, with murder, abuse of a corpse, assault and tampering with evidence. Joshua Sparkman, 30, of Campbellsburg, is charged with assault. Bobby Long, 30, of New Castle, is charged with murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. The men are charged in the death of Angela Hall, 34, of La Grange. She was reported missing on November 20. State police say Hall's body was found buried in a soybean field in Shelby County, but investigators believe she was killed in Trimble County. The remains will be brought to Louisville for positive identification at the State Medical Examiners Office.

This makes 72 murders in 2015 and 38 unsolved cases
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- LMPD is conducting a homicide investigation in the Wyandotte neighborhood. Police were called to the 300 block of West Florence Avenue around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday. That's near the Watterson Expressway and Southern Parkway. Officials say the victim was a male and had obvious signs of trauma, but it is not clear exactly how he died. He was found behind an abandoned building, according to police. Neighbors say the victim had been at the location since around 12:30 a.m. Police say there are currently no suspects. This marks the 72nd homicide in Louisville this year.

Really
The mayor and the chief had better start getting serious and start cracking down on the violence in Louisville. Record murders, mothers holding babies robbed at gun point at local malls! I love how the media covers the mayor opening a new play ground but won't ask him tough questions about his plan to address crime. Maybe Conrad (I refuse to call him chief anymore) will talk to some real police leaders around the country and find out that you can't just have keep having prayer meetings and candle light events to combat crime.
This city is doomed, we are the next Detroit, St. Louis or Memphis.

An issue I see with Ron is how he pulls over a speeder with FOP plates and she says its her dads car so he writes her a ticket and says just plead not guilty and have your dad call me and says he will "take car of it" in court so he can get more court pay instead of taking care of it right then and there with discretion! Then in court the judge disagreed with the way the case was handled and now no officer can speak on behalf of anyone. Thanks Ron so you can make more $$$$ and screwing everyone else.

http://www.wave3.com/story/30623405/convicted-killer-arrested-after-police-stand-off-charged-with-kidnapping
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A convicted killer was arrested Sunday morning at his home in the Pleasure Ridge Park area after a standoff with police. John McLeaney, 46, was taken into custody just before 5 a.m. and faces a long list of charges after allegedly kidnapping a woman and holding her in his garage. McLeaney previously served more than 12 years in prison after being convicted of manslaughter in Nebraska. According to an arrest citation, McLeaney impersonated a police officer, activating emergency lights on the vehicle he was driving, in order to pull the woman over. Police say he was wearing a badge and told the woman to come with him, forcing her into the back of his vehicle. He then drove to a UPS parking area where he zip tied her hands behind her back.
Then McLeaney drove to the Cricket Store on Taylorsville Road where he was able to bypass the alarm system and enter the business. He left, drove around and returned to the store, tampered with the store's video camera and stole the safe, police records said. Police say he then returned to the the UPS area where he pulled the victim's pants down and her shirt up and touched her private parts before driving to his home on Columbine Drive. He barricaded himself in the garage with the woman. McLeaney allegedly threatened to kill the victim with a gun if she told police about what had happened.
Online records show that McLeaney was convicted of manslaughter in Nebraska in 1997. He had been charged with murder in connection to the strangulation of a 17-year-old girl in 1987, when McLeaney also would have been 17, according to a report by The Omaha World-Herald. McLeaney pleaded no contest to the reduced manslaughter charge.

The Chief should read up on the law before saying the law doesn't allow something. He can tell officers not to enforce the law, but not redefine the law.
Conrad's letter "When officers cannot intervene: In most cases, officers could not lawfully remove a child from a bus after order has been restored. Another situation where officers could not lawfully intervene would involve removing disruptive children from a classroom where not violation of law had occurred. In some cases faculty members have requested that officers arrest a student. When problematic behavior becomes a violation of law is a decision the officer of the scene must make, and therefore it cannot be arbitrarily identified by a faculty member or other school staff."
Not quite.
"The Attorney General's Office confirmed that police can still make arrests for those charges and for other misdemeanors in cases where a suspect disregards an officer's instruction or is a danger to themselves or others." Officers can advise the student they've been ordered to vacate a vehicle or particular area of a school. If the refuse, they can be charged with Criminal Trespass and arrested if they ignore the officer's order. That's an allowed exception to the normal practice of issuing a citation.

December 3, 2015 'Devout' Muslim US citizen and his Saudi Arabian wife left their baby at home to storm back to office holiday party with automatic weapons and slaughter 14 of his colleagues before dying in bloody police shoot-out. Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, were killed in a gun battle with police after the mass shooting. The Redlands home shared by Malik and Farook has been deemed an “IED factory” by some law enforcement sources. Farook is said to have traveled to Saudi Arabia for a month earlier this year and returned with a wife he met online. He and his wife left their six-month-old baby daughter with his mother in Redlands, California, telling her they were going for a doctor's appointment. Police said 14 died and a 17 were wounded after suspects opened fire at the Inland Regional Center on Wednesday. Suspects reportedly threw pipe bombs out of the windows of their SUV before they were taken down by police.

You didn’t back down.
We would have understood if you did, if you hesitated, if you backed off. Confronting a gang of heavily-armed terrorists with a bloody track record of murder – did you really sign up for that? When you kissed your spouse going out the door Wednesday morning, did you expect to be in a firefight that other law enforcement officers will dissect, discuss, and learn from long after you retire?
No. But you didn’t back down.
You didn’t back down because you made a promise, a promise to defend the people of San Bernardino with your lives if that’s what it came to. For most cops, it will never come to that, being face to face with three committed criminals who intended to take as many people with them as possible on their one-way trip to Hell. But it came to that for you on Wednesday.
And you didn’t back down.
You came from many different agencies, like the San Bernardino Sheriff Department and California Highway Patrol, but for you San Bernardino Police Department guys, it was your home. I know you. I was the senior officer at the 1st Battalion, 185 Armor’s armory down on Third Street for about six months back in the 2000s. You had a good relationship with the citizen soldiers of the Army Guard. In fact, one of the other officers there was on your force at the time; I thought of him a lot on Wednesday as the events unfolded.
San Bernardino’s a tough place, and you get saddled with dealing with the myriad social problems you did not create, but which you sure as hell get blamed for. The city teeters on the edge of bankruptcy and the town decays, but you still do your job. It’s easy to criticize the cops, mostly because you’re the ones who have to enforce the standard, and because you’re too busy doing your job and too professional to jump into the debate. You’re always the scapegoats. Politicians kiss up to punks who march calling for you to be murdered; sometimes people try to actually kill you. You are underpaid, under-supported, under-appreciated.
And yet, when you stood between those murderers and the people of San Bernardino, you didn’t back down.
You stood your ground like the outgunned FBI agents who shot it out with those bank robbers in the 1980s.
You stood your ground like the Los Angeles Police Department officers who fought outgunned against the two would-be killers in Northridge.
You stood your ground with the same heroism of the New York Police Department and Port Authority Police officers, New York City Fire Department firefighters and medics who rushed into teetering skyscrapers to make sure that the civilians might live.
You stood your ground like thousands of other law enforcement officers have done and will do without the wall-to-wall media coverage.
I heard the radio calls as all hell broke loose. You didn’t show it, but maybe you were afraid, except it’s not heroism if you have no fear – it’s just stupidity. Even when under fire – literally – you maintained your professionalism. You were ably supported by the dispatchers who kept calm and cool, and by the firefighters and medics who backed you up. You know that hundreds of millions of us appreciated you Wednesday, even if we sometimes forget our hometown heroes. It’s fitting and proper for us to say “Support our troops.” Maybe it’s time we changed that to “Support our troops and first responders.”
Because, when it became a matter of life and death, and when all that stood between those murderers and innocent civilians were your bodies, your very lives, you didn’t back down.
“I’ll take a bullet before you do, that’s for damn sure.”
Where were the undisciplined, uncaring, trigger-happy thugs the media loves to portray on Wednesday afternoon? They were nowhere to be seen, because that image, that lie, is not you. It’s not who you are or what you do. But that nonsense was all forgotten on Wednesday.
What we will remember is how you didn’t back down.

This is a work of political fiction. First off there have been 79 murders, not 76. They are leaving out 3 murders committed by arson. Second, there is no proof the Chief's so called "operation" has cut any murders. Third, the reasons murders are up here and elsewhere is a massive surge in heroin importation from Mexico and the decision to release thousands of career criminals from prison.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville is in its deadliest year in nearly 40 years. Just last week, the city had five murders and has 76 so far in 2015.
"It is the most serious crime that is committed,” Louisville Metro Police Department Chief Steve Conrad said on Thursday. "Losing someone you love is a huge issue.”
The city’s 76 murders are the most since 1979. Conrad said he noticed the issue after a deadly January and February.
“Having 20 homicides at a point when we would normally have six or seven for the year was really when we reacted,” Conrad said.
LMPD set up a task force in February to fix the problem, using local and federal agencies.
It lowered murders for the next three months, but they came back up. Conrad said the biggest reason behind the high number of murders is simple.
"It's easy access to guns,” Conrad said.

More gun control media spew from people whose ideas became irrelevant in 2001. Crime is caused by criminals and drugs, just like terror is caused by terrorists. You stop it by taking them off the street.
I'll carry what rifles the law allows in my trunk. Rifles are inherently more accurate than pistols. If you want to fire an officer who used a rifle to stop an active shooter, then good luck in court when you get sued. The public isn't going to side with the department. Many of them are now better armed than the department and legally carrying concealed every day. America will not be defeated by islamic terror, mexican drug traffickers, street gangs or apologist surrendermonkeys.

Obama was just commenting on how "they're scared of widows and three-year-old orphans." If he ever gets something right, the White House should throw a party to celebrate.
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/12/07/police-officer-bitten-by-rampaging-migrant-screaming-allah-akhbar/
The 23-year-old Moroccan ‘asylum seeker’ spoke no German and savagely attacked police on Sunday in Osnabrück station, hospitalising two and injured a third. Attacking a female police officer, the man kicked and bit while screaming in Arabic the Islamist war-cry “Allah hu Akbar” and crying out the name of the Islamic State. In the end it took three federal police officers to pepper spray and cuff the man. The female police officer was left with a “massive” knee injury and another officer was treated at hospital for a broken rib and bites on his forearm. Both are now off duty to recover from their wounds. Despite being kept in hand-cuffs, the man even tried to “repeatedly” grab the service pistol of a police officer.
