Officers less motivated post-Ferguson

I cannot believe the mentality of police officers who will often say things like the Chief "will not let us police". I really don't get it. Everything that has come down the pipe regarding how you police is much larger than the Chief. It is based on legal precedent and that's a fact. The Chief gets advice from the Legal Advisor and County Attorney. It's a trickle down effect, friend. Take pursuits for example...do you see how restricted they have become? Do you honestly think the Chief is behind that? Broaden your insights man...everything on LMPD is based on reducing its risk of loss in a potential lawsuit. Understand that an you will have a long wholesome career.
