It was his failed attempt to make himself appear like the regular guy. He came to our roll call and unleashed a profanity-laced tirade about how he should be elected. I was so embarrassed for him having to sit through it. Normally I would rather not get a run right out of roll call, but dispatch threw me a lifeline that day because I heard enough.
