Louisville Metro Police has seen a big drop in applicants, but why?

Police officers have a very bad habit of judging who among them should or should not be "the police". A lot of officers would rather fire any officer for the slightest violation. That is what is ridiculous. I don't have a disciplinary record but I am constantly amazed at the amount of hatred and forgiveness on the department. Just remember you don't set the standards for what makes someone a good police officer....you just work here like everyone else. Eventually you'll retire and nobody will care that you once were a cop.

Agreed. It's a no brainer, think of all the ones who get fired or arrested on an annual basis. It's nothing new.
