You sure are doing your part!! Look how happy these folks are!!

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A three-mile stretch of one of Louisville's most popular streets was closed to traffic Sunday afternoon.

Instead, bike riders, walkers and even a pedal bar took to the streets in the Highlands for Cyclouvia.

The event draws people to stop and check out the businesses in the area, those who would normally keep driving because they can' find a place to park.

Some say the event builds a sense of community.

"You're kind of able to talk to everybody because you're on an even playing field," Brooke Burnette said. "It's like a sports game. You all come together for a common purpose, and you're kind of passing people, and you're like, 'hey you're doing the same thing I'm doing,' ... pretty cool."

Cyclouvia also featured food trucks, sidewalk sales and live music.
