LMPD officer who won $450,000 settlement in whistleblower lawsuit again sues the department

The main reason is a lack of money to process the kits. States that put enough money towards it have 20 day turnarounds. Here its 8 months or more even if Detectives need the evidence to move forward on a case. There is no excuse for this. The politicians and Chiefs who have got along to get along should take the blame they're due.
