The old Chiefs like Dotson would have told the Mayor he needed more officers. Conrad needs to stand up to the Mayor's political operatives instead of trying to fit in. The public and metro council aren't buying their spin anymore and now see how dangerous Louisville has become just in the last few years. Most solutions offered by the administration are just cuts to the department in disguise. He is even giving up the 1 unit he bothered to create because he got a little heat from the pro-criminal factions.
