Well considering that shifts are not part of our contract what should the FOP do? Negotiate for something that doesn't exist? Shifts come at the pleasure of the Chief and they are ever changing. If people have enough time to retire they most likely are not on midwatch...at last check there are only 100 Officers/C.O's, eligible to retire across the whole department.
