I always thought Mutchler was a fool. Now after reading his "open letter" twice I can confirm my belief. I don't know what a person is thinking whenever they are in such a high leadership position to write such barbaric and devisive things meant for the public to read. It is pure ignorance and stupidity. You cannot read that letter and not come away with a police 'us' versus 'them' mindset. Why do FOP leaders always feel the to need to rush and say something to appear they are "representing" their officers? The tone of Mutchler's letter is angry and fed up. It is so unbecoming and beneath the position he holds which is a problem I doubt he will ever see for himself.

Mutchler should go now!!! Very distasteful and tacky letter.
