Police chief to shake up patrol officers' shifts

interesting.. so proposing no off duty on 12 hour days....

The media here is a bunch of city hall lapdogs, so they won't ask any pointed questions. Why is the city bot hiring more officers? Possibly becasuse it's blowing hundreds of millions on more section 8 housing construction, the construction of the Omni hotel, and construction of a new library nobody needs? There is already an excess of apartments, hotels, and libraries here. The hotel people were trying to shut down the AirBnb renters a month ago. All books are on the internet now. The city thinks so little of the crime victims in this city that they waste money on pet projects instead of protecting the citizens. There's a real op-ed in case those lapdogs want to know what one looks like.

So has the chief decided not to let the members vote? Seems like he is doing 12's. No off duty on days working.. I see lots of peeps not submitting forms and taking their chances.
