I don't know. It seems some older officers are scared and afraid of the unknown. They have worked 8's and are familiar with them. 12's could be great, but some just aren't sure of their capabilities. Then there are some people that only identify themselves as police officers, it is there whole life; they look at 12's and say, " I'd rather put the uniform on 80 more times a year with 8's" It's sad really, its there whole life.
