The city doesn't usually win when it comes to the contract enforcement, but just the negotiations. Go count the number of high profile cases they lost in their bid to fire or prosecute officers. If the city wins a case thats not legit, its probably because the person didn't get good advice from a qualified attorney. They hire a pro and don't try to do it like a saturday afternoon amateur mechanic in their garage.
