LMPD officers under investigation can get fresh start with resignation

12 hour shifts would be good. The department would also save lots of money, because they wouldn't need as many sergeants and lieutenants to run just 2 shifts for each patrol division. They'd have to halt promotions for a couple years to get back down to the right number.
