-headline in the story linked below says it all...if the folks at the Huffington post are already spinning it as a simple joke, Andrew has nothing to worry about. Move along, nothing to see here.

Now that UK didn't win, this young man can go back to being considered a "thug" in the eyes of most UK fans. These vulnerable talented players are too young and naive to understand UK fans really have no use for them other than winning games. An all white UK team would be preferred, but white kids are much too timid and soft to run on the court against black athletes so UK will have to 'tolerate' depending on black athletes to take the program where it's been. (Ooops, I wasn't supposed to point that fact out).

He was pi$$ed and meant it. It only became a "joke" when he was caught saying it. And maybe I misunderstood what he said, but didn't he call a white boy the N word? What's up with that? Maybe I don't get out enough : /

He should be kicked off the team, but won't be, because NCAA basketball is a pro sport pretending to have amateur status. University execs and coaches could make multimillion dollar salaries without it being so. Besides the profit motive, there is also a huge double standard for young black male athletes. Most colleges are run by self-hating white liberals who blame everything they do wrong on historical discrimination against blacks. When their athletes get accused of serious crimes like rape, those kinds of universities are sure to play down the crime as a mistake by a well intentioned kid. Hiring lots of off duty cops makes most problems disappear, but not all.
