LMPD Chief Forms New Task Force to Address Spike in Homicides in the Metro

Thats not the problem here in Possibility City. The money isn't even the major issue. Its how and where officers are being used. Here the problem is too little focus on serious crime, too much focus on feel good public events and massive amounts of traffic control details. Too many people in administrative jobs and flavor of the month task forces. Too few in patrol, the loss of all street crimes and gang detectives, and too many young detctives who have not ever had competent leadership or been given any kind of strategy on how to attack crime. Its the same reactive and spastic grabass approach that White brought here. What really need to happen is for the department to hire some retired command from a city that had a clue to teach them how to rebuild the department after a decade of White/Conrad.
