Denver police union calls for chief's resignation after memorial desecrated during protest

Hugathugs like you are exactly why the big Democrat run cities have the highest crime rates and a middle class thats fled beyond the city limits. White is an embarassment to law enforcement and should resign now. The LMPD administration can learn a lesson from Denver about what can happen when you fail to perform your duties in a responsible manner. They should unlearn all the idiocy he taught them.

I understand your point but I think it's bigger than that. Some things should be held sacred and I don't see a problem with the Denver officers trying to rally public support. It's not the same, but very similar to vandalizing headstones at a cemetery. Police here remember White sticking his foot in his mouth on more than one occasion, whether intentional or not. There's nothing wrong with the rank and file making a stand on this issue. Most likely nothing happens, White wont resign on his own but if this creates enough negative publicity he may feel pressure from the top.
