Oh...I'm sorry. You were in L.A. 7 years ago? I was unaware. You might want to fax your resume to the State Department. You seem more than qualified to act as an advisor in domestic and foreign affairs. The gentleman pictured above has been in L.A. His entire adult life. He seems over qualified and he is currently being vetted in senate confirmation hearings as a replacement for the Secretary of State.

I, however will be content to sit back and let the events in Denver play out. It'll be interesting to watch Bo-Bo work to regain the trust of the department.

By the way....if you are wonder about my qualifications, I've never been to L.A. but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Nobody says the sky is falling. This discussion is about the shift in this country of how police leadership is relenting to vocal groups who do not represent the majority of the population. What direction is law enforcement heading? What message is leadership inside and outside of Law Enforcement sending to society? Officers trying to enforce law cannot be put in a position of compromise for the sake of political whims from those who make their living feeding from the public trough. Law Enforcement officers will carry out their lawful duty and follow what society demands as long as they know what that direction is. The problem is that lack of direction, otherwise known as lack of leadership.
