Just to clarify. I'm referring to the misguided leadership of Bo Bo White.

The "stop and wait strategy" sounds a lot like Obama's "strategic patience" with ISIS and Russia. In other words, be a doormat for your adversary because the leader is not really a leader.

KUSA -The head of Denver's police union wants Chief Robert White gone.

He says officers were told not to take immediate action when protesters defaced a memorial for fallen officers.

"We will no longer follow him as we move forward," said Nick Rogers, president of the Denver Police Protective Association. "He is not our chief."

Saturday, demonstrators aiming to protest what they perceive as police brutality threw red paint on the memorial, which sits outside of Denver Police headquarters. Rogers says DPD brass told officers not to take immediate action.

Sunday, Rogers called for Chief Robert White's resignation.

The stop-and-wait strategy has become the standard DPD response to protests over the past several months.

White believes it helps defuse potentially violent situations by identifying suspects and arresting them later.

But, Rogers says watching a crime unfold without action diverges from the mission.

"It goes against everything that every Denver Police officer, every cop in the world, has taken an oath to do," he said.
