It depends: if it's some kid in college doing ride alongs for a month...or some d-bag on an advisory board doing his up tenth ride-along with his LMPD hat, I would agree. But, I have family members and friends that live in their suburban, academic, liberal paradigm do a ride along and had their eyes opened a little.
