You are about as stupid as they come. Police corruption has everything to do with underhanded, cheating, undermining of justice. Things like accepting bribes, witness tampering, stealing, and planting evidence are examples of corruption. Getting into a violent domestic situation where you do not use your police powers is very bad, but far from corrupt.
