I agree. The only problem though, prosecutors are required to disclose the officer's status (on the "list") to the defense counsel. And we all know, they will try their best to use it to influence the jury. Some of those defense attorneys are pretty good at smoke and mirrors, and couldn't care less about the truth or justice.
