Completely off subject but of importance. Has anyone else experienced a 0.00 copay for medication using Humana PPO FOP Enhanced insurance. I have used different pharmacies and had the same result. My stuff should have cost hundreds per year but now the are free. I am afraid to call humana because i think one of there glitches my have allowed me to strike gold. Please reply on this forum.

Under your logic there needs to be more than one officer in each school. Let's stop with the smoke and mirrors and do something with true effect. If we need cops in schools, which I don't believe we do, let's staff the schools properly.

Sure, they have a branch of security, many of whom are former police officers. JCPS has security, NOT police officers. They don't have a state issued ORI number. Jeeez!

What's up with all the murders and shootings lately. I think the chief should pull officers off their beats and create an elite unit to combat violent crime. It should be called Scorpion!

-it's a good thing we're not on pace for having a record number of homicides this year. A story like this might make us look like chumps.

Police: Cigarette citation prompts suspect to threaten officer's life

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - What began as a minor citation led to more serious charges for a man accused of throwing a cigarette butt into the street.

Kenneth Taylor, 51, was stopped for walking in traffic along East Market Street in Louisville .

When an officer approached him, Taylor threw his cigarette butt in the street "and refused to pick it up," according to his arrest report. The officer wrote up a citation, but when he handed it to the suspect, Taylor said "**** that ****" and walked away without the citation, the report said.

The officer then tried to grab Taylor to handcuff and arrest him, but Taylor punched him in the face, the officer said.

A struggle ensued but Taylor was eventually handcuffed, at which point he said he "was going to kill the officer next chance he could get," the report said.

Taylor is charged with assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and littering.

Does anyone know the history of the building where the transmitter used to be? It's says Louisville Police Highland Station. That building looks old...it would be cool if they used it for something.

I recently had the police come to my home looking for a person who not only didn't live there but was sought for a nonviolent allegation and they surrounded my house like they were looking for a mass murderer. When I opened the door, they weren't even standing at the door but off to the side with their hands on their guns. What a joke. And the best part? I invited them in and they didn't stay for 30 seconds. All that drama outside and they were on their way in the blink of an eye. Where do you guys and gals get your training? Starsky and Hutch?

I supported the police's position up until that moment, now I get the outrage. Yes, violent situations can occur in the most domestic of surroundings, but you don't go into a nonviolent situation acting like you're looking for a gun fight. I was embarrassed by their overstated posture and I had to explain to my neighbors what had happened. That kind of paranoia is dangerous because it fosters a trigger finger that should never be there. If you're that afraid for your life, or trained to be that afraid, you should not carry a gun. That's how innocent people get hurt or killed and the department hides behind statistics to say they have a right to make mistakes because they're pumped up on paranoia. That's no public service.

The 50 officer task force will solve it all next week. I guess 8 flex units, 20 plus viper detectives and all the multiple metro narcs just ain't enough or them do'in they job. Here is an idea.... fill all the vacancies and create a 700-800 officer task for and call the "Patrol"......
