Factor in jail booking, special details (shift detail pulling officer or officers from shift) cars tied up on runs etc. and you have very few officers percentage wise available at any one time. Many times a single incident will tie up numerous officers for extended periods of time. The divisions need to be redrawn with accurate stats and adequate officers assigned. Can't wait to see how many more officers and associated equipment will be purchased with the revenue from the new gas meter tax.
