Louisville football player arrested, charged with assault of a police officer

Bet the "assault" was nothing more than a slightly pull away from the officer or something that amounts to tapping a three year old on the wrist. Sissy cops will quickly cry assault whenever their feelings are hurt. This felony will go nowhere in a trial which is why a misdemeanor is in order. Watch and see!!

Copy the link and read the news story. I read the entire twelve paragraph article and despite the author making allusions to there being numerous witnesses, all of which refused to go on camera out of fear for their own safety, nowhere in the story is a description of the robbery suspects mentioned. I can only assume that the cold-hearted, callous thieves were white males, dressed in dark blue uniforms, with shiny buttons and patent leather gun belts. This has to be the case since rogue, white police are the greatest threat that society faces.

Unfortunately I believe our country will endure another civil war within the next 25-50 years. It won't be a traditional 'war'. It will mainly be the 'working man' fending off the welfarian parasites. When over 50% of the population is paying for the majority of the country to collect a check (right now), things start to turn badly. People are getting fed up. I sure am.

After 50 years of antiquated booking at Metro corrections by booking one person at a time. WHY WON'T SOMEONE WITH BALLS FIX THE HORRIBLE PROCESS!!!!!! It is a huge drain on officers waiting for an hour plus....COM'ON MAN!

You are so silly. It takes one person to book the prisoner and 7 to supervise every time. I thought everyone knew that. On a serious note - there are lots of people I should arrest, but don't, because the jail is soooo slow.

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - A man says he was cited by police outside Atlanta for eating a cheeseburger while driving.

Madison Turner, who's from Alabama, says he ordered a double quarter-pounder with cheese from a McDonald's in the Marietta area shortly before he was pulled over last week.

Turner says the officer told him he saw him eating the cheeseburger for two miles, telling the man "You can't just go down the road eating a hamburger."

The ticket, issued under Georgia's distracted driving law, states in the comments section that the offense is "eating while driving."

Cobb County police spokesman Mike Bowman declined comment.

Why does LMPD keep hiring more officers? I know people keep saying we are not full strength, but wouldn't it be cheaper to offer overtime during peak times? I mean instead of hiring more officers and paying for training, equipment, insurance, and pensions, it seems to me overtime would be more effective. I wouldn't think there would be a problem filling overtime, since most people prefer overtime to off-duty.

I wonder if the average citizen knows there is only about 96 officers working metro wide at any given time... Probably only about 80 on late watch.... SMH
