Couldn't cut it

Let me guess, you couldn't cut it in the 5th. It must've been too fast paced for you. So you got shipped out to a safer location where you can spew your vitriolic hatred against "they."

That was a lame attempt to hijack a story about body cams and make it a story about how you can diagnose mental injuries faster than you can type an FI.

First off I am a combat vet too.

I will not judge the officers involved in that incident because I was not there. I have no idea how the man initially acted towards officers, but I am sure their reactions were based on the safety of the public and their own lives. He was obviously out of whack enough to make their 'hackles stand up'. Any mistake, if any, was made out of caution. From the videos I viewed - HE WAS A *****!

They lesson here is if you go "hands on" for somebody disorderly and menacing, you take them to jail. While many LMPD officers are veterans and all respect veterans, cutting this man a break only made him turn around and bite the officers with PSU complaints and a lawsuit. He has documented and self-admitted psychological problems; in his mind he didn't understand that a courtesy was actually given for being a veteran, because charges were not put on him. I feel sorry for him, he's obviously been through a lot, but laying the blame on the officers will not solve his problems.
