Woman dies after being shot by LMPD officers following eight hour SWAT situation

Just saw Ozzy on tv with full birds - It's no wonder no one on this police dept knows how to do anything any more including serving NON high risk warrant. Two marshals and two "vipers" are run out of a house by a 100 pound woman just because she said she had a gun. Having served 100's of warrants I can tell you the first thing you do is secure the suspect upon contact and then you talk to em These are the four who need to be suspended/fired - not the shooters (who apparently done a good job)!

If LMPD had enough SWAT members or agreements with other SWAT teams to get relief so they could wait people out, shootings would be less common. A sniper having the best available night vision equipment can place a non fatal shot to make the suspect drop their weapon. You don't get that proficient being part time though. If you want the best you have to spend the money to get it.
